I’m finally getting better at staying consistent with my workouts., just not at posting this post on time. Working out from home is always challenge but these past two weeks I tried to stay focused as I had my first 10 km race to kinda prepare for.
Tuesday 13 September, 2016 I missed my Monday walk so I did it on Tuesday. I know “they” say never miss a Monday, technically Sunday is the first day of the week. My pace is still very slow I walked 3, 7 km in 40 minutes. This brought me to 5812 minutes in total.
Wednesday 14 September, 2016 I did a 40 minute body-weight workout from #popsugar and it was super intense. This brought me to 5852 minutes in total.
Thursday 15 September , 2016 I really love dumbbells and I did a 30 minute workout.This brought me to 5882 minutes in total.
Friday 16 September, 2016 this was a rest day but I managed to cover 2 km in 20 minutes This brought me to 5902 minutes in total.
Sunday 18 September, 2016 I was church and covered 1 km in 16 minutes This brought me to 5918 minutes in total.
Monday 19 September, 2016 the weather can be a deterrent sometimes I did go for my walk but kept short I managed 2,1 km in 28 minutes This brought me to 5946 minutes in total.
Tuesday 20 September , 2016 I always go to zumba workouts when i lazy or tired but this aerobic dance was planned and I extended by doing 15 minutes extra of freestly zumba and the total was 45 minutes, which brought me to 5991 minutes in total.
Wednesday 21 September , 2016 I didn’t have enough time so I did a jump rope session. I read somewhere that a 10 minute jump rope session is equivalent to a 30 minute jog. I did 20 minutes of this and it brought me to 6011 minutes in total.
Friday 23 September, 2016 I was in Cape Town for the day and I covered 4,7 km in less than an hour. 55 minutes This brought me to 6066 minutes in total.
Saturday 24 September , 2016 I ran 10 km and walked 9 km was so close to covering the distance of a half marathon. This brought me to 6246 minutes in total.
Sunday 25 September, 2016 was a recovery day. My knees and bum hurt so bad.
I am now 4704 minutes away from meeting my goal challenge of exercising 10950 minutes which is 30 minutes of exercise everyday. I’m not sure if I’ll get there but I’ll keep trying. I already know I’m better than were I was this time last year.
